I am working on a new book called Jazzy Colors. It's a book about colors. The color blue will be a beach ball. I purchased 12 blue beach balls. I wanted to have Jazzy on the beach with 12 blue beach balls.
It didn't work out quite that way. Firstly, I had blown up about 5 of the balls before going to the beach and when we got there the wind immediately sent two of them into the water and the current took them far out of our reach. I did not want to swim after them.
Secondly, Jazzy wanted to eat the beach balls. She delights in pulling things apart and the plastic had just the right "ripping" consistency. We had to be quick because once she got them, they were destroyed. We went through about 4 more balls because she would grab them from the water then tear them apart.
We finally figured out the best process for getting the photo that I wanted. I also hid one in the tall grass and told her to go find it.
It was a fun session. I had the help of my best photo helper ever, Dale, my hubby. I could not have done it without him.
Here are a few photos from that day.
