Weddings Aren't Perfect

I have been photographing weddings for the past 2 years. My skills are always growing.  Along with learning more about taking wedding photos, I am learning the blessings that go with organization and the wonder of people's ability to cope when things go wrong.

I photographed Edward and Deanna's wedding this weekend and they should get a medal for their patience, acceptance, grace and kindness.  Without going into detail,  they experienced late arrivals, a limo that had to dump everyone and run for parking reasons, a delayed ceremony, no wedding cake (they had a stand in), parking woes, impromptu first look, a 5-10 minute bridal portrait session, extreme heat and perhaps other things of which I was not aware.  But not once, did I capture a frown, or angry face, perhaps a little anxiety, but what bride isn't that way before she walks down the aisle.

The have graciously allowed me to use their wedding to show my work from the beginning to the end of the event. The entire wedding is on my website.

However, here are my favorites. Look below to see some that my second shooter, Tanehsa, was able to capture.

Here are a few from Tanesha,
